Uno Mehta, SVP Product Management, brings 25 years of senior engineering and technical management expertise at leading telecommunications equipment companies. Prior this role, Mr. Mehta was SVP/GM of Dilithium’s VAS Business Unit, which he created and led, developing solutions which now account for more than 60% of Dilithium’s global business. He previously held executive positions at Dilithium including VP Worldwide Engineering, and VP Global Support Services.
Prior to joining Dilithium, Mr. Mehta was Vice President and General Manager, Broadband Product Group, at Zhone Technology, a leading supplier of access equipment providing integrated voice, video, and data services. Zhone’s products allow service providers to transition to a fiber infrastructure while continuing to operate their current copper-based network.
Prior to Zhone, Mr. Mehta served as Vice President of Core engineering for the Wireline Access Division of Alcatel USA. While at Alcatel, he oversaw the management of a 200+ employee engineering division with designated software, hardware, mechanical design and release units.
Mr. Mehta also held senior technical, marketing, and support positions at DSC Communications including Senior Director, Account and Application Marketing, Director, Product Support Group, Access Division, and Senior Manager, Product Verification, Access Division.
Mr. Mehta earned MS degrees in Structural Engineering and Computer Science from University of Illinois.
