Sales Director, Middle East & Africa  
   
Job Description  

Sales Director shall be responsible for establishing, developing and closing business opportunities with key account mobile operators, major telecommunications equipment manufacturers, and channel partners. The position requires senior level sales experience with large carrier accounts, as well as major equipment vendors, and channel partners.   This is a new position that will be responsible for the sales territories of the Middle East and Africa and reports to the Vice President of Sales for that region and Southern Europe.

 
   
Responsibilities  
  • Manage all activities and coordinate between Dilithium and our key accounts. Promote full range of solutions to customers. Produce and deliver formal business proposals and presentations.
  • Seek out, identify, develop and close business opportunities with all accounts in territory.
  • Identify key customer requirements and coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to ensure smooth implementations of requirements in the products.
  • Identify, quantify, and recommend action plan to address new business opportunities consistent with overall strategy.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage customer accounts at both the senior management and technical level.
  • Detailed knowledge of wireless communications, and video protocols
 
   
Requirements  
  • A proven track record of building long-term relationships with strategic carrier accounts.
  • Ten years of proven quota attainment and major account selling directly into wireless mobile operator accounts.
  • Prior experience in mobile communication industries and related networking products, IP and related protocols, technology environments and/or support.
  • Must possess a strong internal drive to succeed, be able to self-motivate, and to meet or exceed projected accurate forecasts.
  • Strong ability to foster enthusiasm and teamwork, presents a positive and forward-thinking attitude, and is committed to the Company's goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade with a positive attitude.
  • Proven track record of building consensus, collaborating across function lines and developing strong business and partnership relationships.
  • Excellent presentation skills with senior executives with the ability to hold the interest of a technical or non-technical audience.
  • Independent self starter with the ability to work in start-up, fast paced environment show creativity and a different way of thinking will be essential.
