Dilithium and Alcatel Collaborate
on IOT Testing
Petaluma, CA February 15, 2005— Dilithium announced today that it will collaborate to perform
formal IOT testing with Alcatel's 3G video solutions. This
collaboration enables real-time video telephony and
video-conferencing services between UMTS handsets and either
PCs equipped with web cams or IP video telephony terminals.
Dilithium DTG 2000, is a carrier-class multimedia gateway
that provides transcoding and signaling between 3G UMTS
networks and SIP/H.323 based IP networks. The DTG 2000
multimedia gateway incorporates several patent pending
technologies including AnswerFast™ Plus that reduces
session call setup times to under 1 second.

testing to be done using Dilithium’ solutions
reinforces Alcatel's position as an end-to-end integrator.
In addition, Alcatel is offering handset manufacturers a
complete lab environment for testing the different terminals

Dilithium’s DTG 2000 multimedia gateway is used by several
leading operators in Europe and Asia.
