Dilithium’s VT-PROBETM QoS Tool Licensed by
Agilent Technologies
Petaluma, CA. March 14, 2005 — Dilithium, the leading supplier of 3G multimedia
solutions, announced
today that Agilent Technologies, the leading supplier of
service assurance solutions, has incorporated Dilithium’s
VT-PROBE™ in its operations support system (OSS) 3G test
equipment, including Wireless QoS Manager and Wireless
Application Measurement Drive Test Software (WAMS). The
combination of the VT-PROBE and Agilent’s solutions enables
operators to perform a variety of measurements that they can
use to assess service-level quality of their networks and to
proactively make improvements to their service offerings.
VT-PROBE, the leading QoS measurement tool for 3G operators,
is a software platform that can be integrated with a test
equipment vendor’s or system integrator’s quality of service
(QoS) systems and enables 3G operators to test QoS of their
video telephony services. The VT-PROBE, which is based on
3G-324M/H.324M protocol, can be programmed to make and
receive calls at regular intervals to other probes in the
network that perform a variety of QoS key performance
indicator (KPI) measurements for service accessibility,
reliability and media quality.
