Qualcomm Licenses Dilithium’ AnswerFast^TM Plus Technology

Petaluma, CA. –  March 31, 2006, – Dilithium, the leading supplier of 3G multimedia solutions, announced today that Qualcomm has licensed Dilithium’s AnswerFast Plus technology. AnswerFast Plus technology reduces video call session set-up time to less than one second, which is comparable to voice calls. 

AnswerFast Plus was developed in response to mobile operators’ strong desire to reduce session call set-up times.  The result of this enhancement is significant improvements in the customer experience for video calling, and reduction in wasted network overhead, while maintaining flexibility in terms of codec configuration and combinations.
