Elephant Talk:Convergent solutions for the delivery of mobile technology and multimedia

Petaluma, CA. – October 20, 2008 Quentris and Dilithium proudly announce that their combined forces will enable Elephant Talk Communications Inc., (OTCBB: ETAK) an international Telecom and multimedia content distributor, to expand its telecommunications services through the launch of converged multimedia services. The unique solution includes voice, web and mobile communication, and is setting a new standard in telecommunications.

Elephant Talk aims to provide new services to its clients, using the latest interactive technologies such as 3G video and web communications, while at the same time integrating mobile communication through cell phones and Flash based internet and PC applications. Systems integrator Quentris and solutions provider Dilithium, provide a unique solution that combines Dilithium DTG Multimedia Gateways, with the ViVAS development platform and Flash solution. The system enables convergent video services such as IVR, 3G applications and web communications.

The new video portal will allow Elephant Talk to provide 3G video streaming over the broadband and mobile networks. The multimedia gateway enables video conversations and services between 3G-324M and SIP endpoints and high revenue generating services such as video mail and streaming. Elephant Talk customers gain access to these services through premium numbers. The benefits of this platform are numerous and can be extended to video surveillance & security, mobile to PC conferencing, video blogging and IVR in the future.

Elephant Talk’s overall goal is to create a great customer experience, including live customer service agents, without investing in huge servers, CTI-applications and complicated configurations. The new solution supports a maximum of devices and operating systems, with unlimited voice and live video access regardless if the target audience is using a cell phone, pc or laptop. Watching a video or TV programme, taking a call, participating in a live conference, dialling a number, contacting a customer service department, playing an interactive game, voting in a TV show, receiving instant information, making a video call – everything is possible through one single solution. The user friendliness, time saving functionalities and inviting interactive menus and visualizations make the solution accessible for all kinds of customers. Logging features allow data collection from customers worldwide and the overall service level will increase. And, most importantly, communication costs will be considerably reduced.

“The purchase of this state of the art multimedia gateway and ViVAS software, enabling interactive 3G and Flash streaming for all kinds of live content, and our own compression technique, completes our product portfolio” says Martin Zuurbier CTO and COO of Elephant Talk. “In combination with PRS (Premium Rate Services) and streaming content, we are able to tap brand new markets”.
