Dilithium Honored as 2009 Mobile Entertainment Awards Finalist

Petaluma, CA. – August 18, 2009 – Dilithium, the global leader in high-quality multimedia delivery over mobile and broadband networks, has been nominated in the Best TV & Video Service Provider category of the Mobile Entertainment (ME) Awards 2009.  Dilithium earned finalist honors for its Dilithium Content Adapter (DCA), which can bring video to any 2.5G/3G mobile phone, including iPhone, iPhone 3.0, Blackberry and Android devices, PCs and set top boxes.

Dilithium was selected from hundreds of companies that submitted nominations for the eagerly-awaited event at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on October 1, 2009.  The ME Awards are now in their fourth year, and have established themselves as the premier awards event in the burgeoning mobile content space. They are hosted by Mobile Entertainment, which is the leading media outlet in the sector thanks to its magazine, website and email alerts services.

This year's event comprises 18 awards across three categories: development and publishing; services; operators and handsets. New awards for 2009 include Best App Store, Best Search and Location company, and Best Social Media company.

The winners will be voted upon by a judging panel, which consists of around 400 execs from all sectors of the business. Members of the jury are sent a PDF of the official finalists supplement. They base their decisions on this document and their own industry experience.
